Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the EGR motor
  • Poor connector connection
  • EGR actuator
Enable Conditions
  • EGR control duty stays that it is higher than 40% for 5s
  • EGR position deviation stays that it is higher than 20% for 3s
Threshold Value Case 1
  • When it is an open circuit
Case 2
  • When it is a short circuit to ground
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
