Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	EGTS connector	1 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 5V
	EGTS connector	2 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 0V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	EGTS connector	1 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinity)Ω

Good

Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the EGTS and Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, Go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
