DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor crankshaft revaluation
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short circuit
  • Fault or damage sensor
  • Crankshaft or Camshaft pulley position adjustment
  • CKPS
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No DTC of CMP (P001600, P001700)
  • No DTC of vehicle speed (P215900)
  • Vehicle speed is between 1 and 231 km/h (0.6 and 15.5 mph)
  • Engine speed is higher than 500 RPM
Threshold Value
  • When it is unable to detect a crankshaft tooth until camshaft position change 6 times
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
