Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
|
- Poor connector connection
- Leakage test of surge tank
- Leakage test of intercooler (hose)
- Damaged turbocharger boost pressure/air cooler temperature sensor
- Contaminated or blocked turbocharger boost pressure/air cooler temperature sensor
- Slow responding turbocharger boost pressure/air cooler temperature sensor
|
| Enable Conditions |
Case 1 |
- Engine stop time is more than 2.6s
- Engine speed is less than 32 RPM
- Barometric pressure sensor is normal
- The pressure detection value of the MAPS is in the normal voltage range (0.3 to 4.85V)
- Throttle position sensor voltage is 0.29 to 4.81V
|
| Case 2 |
- When the maximum load duration is more than 2s (APS operation is more than 90%)
- Idle duration greater than 12s
- Fuel cut duration greater than 5s
- Engine revolution is greater than 768 RPM when the engine start
|
| Threshold Value |
Case 1 |
- If the pressure difference between boost pressure sensor and MAPS is greater than 10 kPa
- When the pressure difference between boost pressure sensor and barometric pressure is greater than 10 kPa and the pressure difference between barometric and MAPS is less than 10 kPa
|
| Case 2 |
- If the pressure difference between boost target pressure and MAPS is greater than 10 kPa under full load
- When the pressure difference between barometric pressure and boost pressure sensor is more than 20 kPa when the engine is idle
- When the pressure difference between barometric pressure and boost pressure sensor is 15 kPa or more with the throttle closed
