DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check, high side (over boost)
  • Damaged turbocharger waste gate regulating valve solenoid
  • Damaged waste gate adjusting rod
  • Waste gate regulating solenoid valve stuck
  • Waste gate stuck closed
  • Waste gate control hose open or plugged
  • Incorrect waste gate adjustment
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is faster than 300 RPM
  • No DTC of BPS (P023700, P023800, P004E00, P259F00)
Threshold Value
  • When how large of difference pressure between actual boost pressure and target boost pressure is higher than 50 kPa
Diagnostic Time
  • 3s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
