DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Heater performance check
  • Poor connector connection
  • HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) heater
Enable Conditions
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • EGT around upstream O2S (model) is less than 930°C (1, 706°F)
  • Sensor heating voltage is over 10.7V
  • Engine start time is over 60s
Threshold Value
  • HO2S heater (B1S2) voltage is lower than specified voltage
Diagnostic Time
  • 12s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
