DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Slow response error check (exhaust)
  • Poor connector connection
  • CVVT assembly (exhaust)
  • Oil leakage
  • VFS - Ex (Bank1)
Enable Conditions
  • Normal engine oil temperature (5 to 135°C/41 to 275°F)
  • Engine speed is between 1000 and 5000 RPM
  • Time deviation of more than 2s
  • No support of requested function of catalyst heating
Threshold Value
  • When how large of a difference between actual CMP and target angle is more than 3° that it could be detected five times
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
