Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 PDW forward RH connector 6 (IGN1) Chassis ground - Approx. 11V
PDW forward RH connector 1 (LID1) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
PDW forward RH connector 2 (LID2) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
PDW forward RH connector 3 (LID3) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect auxiliary battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 PDW forward RH connector 6 (IGN1) IBU connector 18 (PDW-F power) Approx. below 1Ω
PDW forward RH connector 4 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Engine "ON".
  2. Measure the oscilloscope using the VMI with the gear "D" retained
 PDW forward RH connector 5 (LIN) Chassis ground - Fig.1
