Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
- Remove the rear door trim.
(Refer to Rear Door - "REAR DOOR TRIM ")
- Remove the rear door belt inside weatherstrip (A).NOTE: When installing, install it by first contacting the inside part (basis point of assembly) of arrow to door frame.
- Remove the rear door belt outside weatherstrip (A).
- Remove the delta rain cover (A) by removing the mounting screw.
- Remove the rear door glass run (A)
- Remove the rear door front garnish after removing the mounting screw.
- Remove the rear door channel mounting nut and bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)
- Remove the plug hole (A).
- Lower rear door window glass by pressing the power window glass switch.CAUTION: Be careful not to drop the glass and/or scratch the glass surface.
- Carefully adjust the rear door window glass (A) until the bolt are visible, then remove them. Remove the glass from the glass run and carefully pull the glass out through the window slot.
Tightening torque:
5.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.9 kgf.m, 4.3 - 6.5 lb.ft, 52.0 - 78.1 lb.in)
