Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
  • When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
  1. Remove the rear door window glass.

    (Refer to Rear Door - "REAR DOOR WINDOW GLASS ")

  2. Remove the rear door outside handle.

    (Refer to Rear Door - "REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ")

  3. Remove the rear speaker.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "SPEAKER ")

  4. Remove the rear power window motor.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "POWER WINDOW MOTOR ")

  5. Remove the front door outside handle base mounting bolt.

  6. Remove the rear door latch mounting screw (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb.ft, 60.7 - 95.4 lb.in)

  7. Disconnect the rear door main wiring connector (A).

  8. Remove the rear door module (A) by removing the mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  9. Remove the rear door module wiring clip (A).

  10. Disconnect the connectors and rear door module wiring harness.
