Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Front Door - "FRONT DOOR TRIM ")
- Remove the front door belt inside weatherstrip (A).
- Remove the mounting plug hole (A) from the front door module.
- Lower the glass by operating the power window switch until the glass mounting bolt is exposed in the plug hole.CAUTION: Be careful not to drop the glass and/or scratch the glass surface.
- Remove the glass mounting bolts, adjust the spacing of the glass (A) by moving the glass from side to side and then tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque:
5.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.9 kgf.m, 4.3 - 6.5 lb.ft, 52.0 - 78.1 lb.in)
