Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Remove the front door window glass.
(Refer to Front Door - "FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS ")
- Remove the front door outside handle
(Refer to Front Door - "FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ")
- Remove the power window motor
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "POWER WINDOW MOTOR ")
- Remove the front door speaker.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "SPEAKER ")
- Remove the front outside handle base mounting bolt (A).
- Remove the front door latch mounting screws (A).
- Release the locking pin in the direction of the arrow and remove the front door main wiring connector (A).
- Remove the front door module (A) by removing the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)
- Disconnect the connectors and front door module wiring harness.
- Remove the front door latch.
