DTC B1242-13: Evaporator Sensor Open (High): General Description

Evaporator sensor is located on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning) unit and detects the evaporator core temperature to prevent compressor operation by not supplying power to compressor and prevent evaporator from freezing by excessive cooling.
