Repair Procedures: Disassembly: Scalp

  1. Remove the housing cover.
  2. Remove the scalp (B) by pushing the lock pin (A).

    NOTE:
    • If clips and hooks are damaged, replace the scalp with a new one as noise may occur in driving.
    • After removing the scalp, make sure that the clip and hook on the back of the scalp are not damaged.
    • After assembly, check each function of the outside rear view mirror.
    • Pressurize enough to allow all hooks to engage when assembling the scalp.
