NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")

  2. Disconnect the third row seat connectors (A).

  3. Remove the mounting bolts (A) on the back of the third row seat assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    44.1 - 58.8 N.m (4.5 - 6.0 kgf.m, 32.5 - 43.4 lb.ft)

  4. Remove the third row seat assembly (A) by removing the mounting bolts on the front.

    Tightening torque: 

    44.1 - 58.8 N.m (4.5 - 6.0 kgf.m, 32.5 - 43.4 lb.ft)
