If a leak is detected by ELCM, inspect the vehicle as the flow chart below to distinguish whether the error was caused by leakage of fuel system or ELCM itself.
CAUTION:
If you perform leakage diagnosis using a smoke tester, the ELCM may be damaged due to the oil ingredients contained in the smoke. Therefore, never use a smoke tester for leakage diagnosis.
