Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")

  2. Remove the rear seat cushion.

    (Refer to Body - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  3. Remove the air duct (A) by removing the mounting nuts.

  4. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A).

  5. Disconnect the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) connector (A).

  6. Remove the FTPS (A) by pulling it in the vertical direction from the fuel pump after releasing the hook.
