Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the crankshaft decoupler.

    (Refer to Drive Belt System - "CRANKSHAFT DECOUPLER ")

  2. Remove the front oil seal (A).

  3. Install the new front oil seal.
    1. Apply engine oil on the edge of new oil seal.
      NOTE: Remove any foreign substances from the lip portion of the oil seal.
    2. Use the SST (0K231-2C200) and a rubber mallet to lightly tap and install the new front oil seal (A).

    NOTE: Do not reuse the front oil seal.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
