Hybrid 6-Speed Automatic Transaxle System is equipped with internal engine clutch and drive motor.
The engine clutch links the engine and the transaxle, and the drive motor transfers power to the Transaxle and is also used as a generator.
When the motor is used as a generator, it generates electric energy during braking and deceleration, and the energy is stored in the high voltage battery.
Depending on the drive condition, either the motor or the engine, or both the engine and the motor supplies drive force to the transaxle during takeoff, acceleration, or high-speed driving.
Electric Oil Pump (EOP) is mounted on the outside of the hybrid 6-speed automatic transaxle. It constantly supplies oil and generates hydraulic pressure.
