Repair Procedures: Removal

Shut off the high voltage circuit.
(Refer to Automatic Transaxle System - "HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURE ")
Drain the coolant of hybrid motor cooling system.
(Refer to Hybrid Motor System - "COOLANT ")

Disconnect the OPU high voltage cable connectors (A).

NOTE: How to disconnect the connector

Pull the locking lever (A), then push down on tab (B).

Pull the connector while raising the hook (C) using driver.

Disconnect the OPU connector (A).

Separate the cooling hose (A).

Remove the OPU (A) by removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:

21.6 - 23.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.4 kgf.m, 15.9 - 17.4 lb.ft)
