- Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist-Reverse (PCA-R)
: When the vehicle is in reverse, in order to prevent collision and reduce possible damage, the system warns the driver or controls the brake in case of danger of collision with pedestrians or objects.
- PCA-R activation condition
- PCA ON: Be able to turn on/off using the user setting menu (USM) on cluster
- Vehicle status: Trunk closed, PDW switch ON
- Shift lever position: R range
- PCA-R Operation
- Shift lever position: R range
- Vehicle speed: less than 10 km/h (6 mph)
- When detecting pedestrians or objects in the rear, the system warns and control the brake system in case of danger of collision. (maintain about 2 seconds)
- If the system is braking once after shifting into reverse (R) gear, no subsequent braking will occur. To operate again, shift out of (R) into (P, N or D gears) and shift back into (R) gear.
