Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
Information
- For the seat equipped with side airbag, remove the side airbag from the seat frame assembly.
- Before service, be fully aware of precautions and service procedure relevant to air bag.

- When replacing the passenger seat cushion, replace both the seat cushion assembly and the Occupant Detecting System (ODS) unit. (However, the covering can be replaced alone.)
- When replacing passenger seat cushion frame (seat track), existing ODS unit are reused.

- Remove the front seat back cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT BACK COVER ")
- Remove the front seat cushion cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER ")
- Remove the front seat back frame (A) and front seat cushion frame (B) by removing the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
44.1 - 53.9 N.m (4.5 - 5.5 kgf.m, 32.5 - 39.8 lb.ft)
