Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
  • When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.

Replacement of seat cushion and ODS

Reuse of existing ODS
  1. Remove the front seat outer shield cover.

    (Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT OUTER SHIELD COVER ")

  2. Remove the front seat inner shield cover.

    (Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT INNER SHIELD COVER ")

  3. Remove the front seat lower seat cover hooks (A).

  4. Disconnect the front seat cushion connectors (A).

  5. Remove the seat cover hooks (A) by using a flat-head screwdriver or remover.

  6. Remove the clips (B) after remove the seat cover hooks (A).

  7. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly (A) from the rear seat cushion frame.

  8. Remove the front seat cushion cover (C) by removing the Velcro tape (A) and the hog ring clip (B) from inside the front seat cushion cover.
    NOTE: Be careful not to deviate from the pads, insert wires, and Velcro tape.

  9. Remove the front seat cushion cover (A) from the front seat cushion pad.

  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
