Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
- Remove the front seat outer shield cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT OUTER SHIELD COVER ")
- Remove the front seat inner shield cover.
(Refer to Front Seat - "FRONT SEAT INNER SHIELD COVER ")
- Remove the front seat lower cover hooks (A).
- Disconnect the connector front seat heating connector (A).
- Remove the front seat headrest (A).
- Remove the front seat back board (A).NOTE:
- Separate the upper back cover by pushing the lock pin in the direction of the arrow.
- Remove the front seat back cover by lifting in the direction.
- Be careful not to break the retaining clip.
- Press the lock pin and removing the front seat headrest guide (A).
- Remove the front seat back ventilation duct (A) by removing the mounting screws.
- Remove the seat cover hooks (A) from the front seat back frame.
- Remove the front seat back assembly (A) from the front seat back frame.
- Remove the front seat back cover (C) by removing the Velcro tape (A) and the hog ring clip (B) from inside the front seat back cover.CAUTION: Be careful not to deviate from the pads, insert wires, and Velcro tape.
- Remove the front seat back cover (A) from the front seat back pad.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure that the connectors are connected completely
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
- To prevent wrinkles, make sure that the cover (B) is stretched evenly before connecting the hog-ring clips (A).
- Replace the hog-ring clips with new ones using special tool (C) (09880 - 4F000).
