DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring voltage and current of motor circuit
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty motor
  • Faulty EPB driver system
  • Open in motor circuit
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery normal voltage
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Difference between VMTP+ and VMTP- is over than 1V for 1500 ms
Case 2
  • Current during motor running is lower than current during not running for 500 ms
Case 3
  • Current change amount is less than 1A within 300 ms immediately after motor driving
Detecting Time Case 1
  • 1500 ms
Case 2
  • 500 ms
Case 3
  • 300 ms
Warning Lamp
  • EPB, AVH
Disable Condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
