DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor voltage
  • Poor connector connection
  • Excessive parking brake shoe gap
  • Faulty IEB module
  • Open in motor circuit
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery normal voltage (7 ~ 19V)
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Calculated motor overheat protection index is less than the motor overheat protection degraded mode entrance threshold
  • Estimated motor coil temperature is over 180°C
Case 2
  • Calculated motor overheat protection index is less than the motor overheat protection pull back mode entrance threshold
  • Estimated motor coil temperature is over 190°C
Detecting Time
  • 100us
Warning Lamp
  • IEB, RBS, ABS, ESP, DBC, AVH, CHECK BRAKE (buzzer)
Disable Condition
  • When the normal state is recovered in same power cycle
