DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the EPB switch signal
  • EPB switch circuit open
  • Faulty EPB switch
  • Driver abnormal switch control
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Auxiliary battery normal voltage (6.5 to 19V)
Threshold Value
  • If the switch input signal does not match any of neutral, apply and release more than 2s
Detecting Time
  • 2s
Warning Lamp
  • EPB
Disable Condition
  • Input each signal neutral, apply and release 1 times
