Repair Procedures: Removal
NOTE:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
- Remove the front bumper assembly.
(Refer to Front bumper - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")
- Disconnect the smart key antenna connector (A).
- Disconnect the Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS) connector (A).
- Disconnect the front radar connector (A).
- Disconnect the ambient temperature sensor connector (A).
- Remove the front bumper beam assembly (A) by removing the mounting bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque
21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 Kgf.m, 15.9 - 19.5 lb.ft)
- Remove the Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS) (A) by removing the mounting bolts.
- Remove the smart key (A) by removing the mounting nuts.
- Remove the Front Radar (A) by removing the mounting nuts.
