Repair Procedures: Removal
WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "Safety Precautions, Cautions and Warnings". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and high voltage shut-off procedure.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")
- Remove the apron garnish (A) after removing the fasteners.
- Remove the clips from the front bumper upper side.
- Remove the clips from the front bumper lower side.
- Remove the clips and screws on the side of front bumper, detach the side part of front bumper.NOTE: When you pull out the front bumper, the side part of the front bumper could be damaged by the projection.
- Separate the top of the front bumper (A) in the direction of the arrow.NOTE: Be careful not to damage the fixing key (B) on the upper side of the front bumper.
- Remove the front bumper assembly (A).
- Disconnect the front bumper fog lamp connector (A).

- Disconnect the front bumper main connector (A).
