Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING:
  • When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  • When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION ". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
  1. Remove the multi-function switch.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System -  "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")

  2. Remove the crash pad side air vent.

    (Refer to Crash Pad -  "CRASH PAD AIR VENT ")

  3. Remove the crash pad center panel and upper panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad -  "CRASH PAD PANEL ")

  4. Remove the crash pad antenna.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System -  "ANTENNA ")

  5. Remove the Head-Up Display (HUD) unit.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD) UNIT ")

  6. Remove the Audio/AVNT head unit.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Audio/AVNT Head Unit ")

  7. Remove the ADAS parking ECU.

    (Refer to Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) - "REMOVAL ")

  8. Remove the front center speaker.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System -  "SPEAKER ")

  9. Remove the Passenger Airbag (PAB) bracket nuts (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 34.7 - 52.1 lb.in)

  10. Remove the main crash pad assembly (A) after removing the bolts and nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    16.7 - 25.5 N.m (1.7 - 2.6 kgf.m, 12.3 - 18.8 lb.ft)

  11. Disconnect the passenger airbag (PAB) connectors (A).

  12. Remove the duct sensor (A).

  13. Remove the main crash pad assembly (A).
