Removal And Installation: Removal
WARNING:
If a transmission jack is used with a two-post lift, do not lift the vehicle too much. The center gravity of the vehicle may change and fall.
- Remove the rear wheel and tires.
(Refer to Tires/Wheels - " WHEEL ")
- Remove the rear under cover.
(Refer to Motor and Reduction Gear System - " REAR UNDER COVER ")
- Remove the trailing arm bolt (A) and nut (B).
Tightening torque:
117.7 - 137.3 N.m (12.0 - 14.0 kgf.m, 86.8 - 101.3 lb.ft)
NOTE:- Install the transmission jack and lift up the parts to prevent the bolts and nuts from damage when installing or removing.
- Be careful not to change the bolt, nut and plate installing position.
Information
Hold the bolt and remove or install the nut.
- Remove the trailing arm (A) after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:
117.7 - 137.3 N.m (12.0 - 14.0 kgf.m, 86.8 - 101.3 lb.ft)
