DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor voltage, current, temperature
  • Faulty auxiliary battery
  • Fuse open and faulty wire harness
  • Faulty IEBU
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (8 to 16.5V)
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value Case 1
  • If valve power is less than (2.0±0.2)V for 60ms when valve relay is on and valve is off
  • If any of the following conditions are satisfied for 60ms when valve relay is on and valve power is on
    • Valve current is greater than (8.5±2.5)A
    • Temperature of the valve driver is greater than 195±20°C (383±68°F)
  • If over than 3mA of leakage current of valve circuit is detected for 60ms
Case 2
  • If valve voltage is less than 76% of Valve Relay Voltage for 60ms when valve is OFF
  • If valve voltage is bigger than 30% of Valve Relay Voltage for 60ms when valve power is ON
  • If valve control output and valve feedback status is not matched for 60ms
Case 2
  • Check the fault of valve coil and valve electrical line with operating ABS/CBS valve sequentially
  • In the progress, if it is determined to be a failure, it operates up to 5 additional times and then determined to be a failure more than 3 times, it is treated as a fault

    * Fail Condition (ABS Valve):

    • Inactivated Valve Voltage lower than 2.0±0.2V
    • Activated Valve Current greater than 8.5±2.5A

    * Fail Condition (CBS Valve):

    • Inactivated Valve Solenoid Valve Voltage lower than 76% of Valve Relay Voltage
    • Activated Valve Solenoid Valve Voltage greater than 30% of Valve Relay Voltage
Warning Lamp
  • EBD, ABS, ESP, DBC, AVH
Disable Condition
  • If valve and valve relay initial active test are normal after ignition off/on
