| DTC Strategy |
|
- Faulty SAS
- SAS is not calibration
- Wheel alignment fault
|
| Enable Condition |
- Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
- Ignition "ON"
|
| Threshold Value |
- Monitoring a SAS range fault if sensor values keep out of the physical range of steer for 600ms
- Monitoring a fault if A sensor (SAS angle jumping) values keep more than 40deg for 40ms
- In case of straight and stable driving over 30km/h (18.6MPH), monitoring a fault if it is more than 25deg to difference between previous SAS offset and mean of estimated SAS offset
- In case of stable driving, monitoring a fault if it is more than (10+a)° to the difference between measured SAS value and estimated SAS value
- In case of over 60km/h (37.2MPH) driving, monitoring a fault if conditions between estimated SAS value and measured SAS value are not proper to driving status
- Monitoring a fault if SAS signal is freezing if the vehicle is curving (more than yaw rate ±5deg/s)

| Disable Condition |
1 to 2) SAS range/jumping fault: SAS signal normal while driving 12km/h when ignition off/on 3 to 6) Driving more than 12km/h (7.4MPH) and below 3 conditions are satisfied
- Driving straight SAS signal is within 25deg
- Right turn SAS < -30deg, Left turn SAS > +30deg
- Turn more than SAS12deg, if there is a certain time within 50% and 150% of the value estimated by other sensors
