DTC C1814-54: CAN Message Failure - SAS: General Description

The steering angle sensor is applied to determine the direction of rotation of the vehicle.

The direction of rotation of the vehicle detected by the sensor is transmitted angle information to the IEBU by a CAN signal via the CAN communication line.

The IEBU detects the operating speed and angle of the steering wheel with this signal and is inputted into the anti-roll control and used.
