- Variant coding (auto/optional) is not done
- Faulty IEBU

- Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
- Ignition "ON"

Case 1 |
- When ignition "ON", variant coding is started using VCU CAN
- If IEBU is set up at the first time (no variant coding is done before)
- If engine volume/engine character/transmission information received from CAN is different from what stored in EEPROM
- If engine volume/engine character/transmission information received from CAN is different from specification define for the vehicle
- If engine data is not received because of CAN bus off or EMS timeout after ignition "ON"
- If 4WD message is received at non-4WD vehicle

- After ignition "ON", no optional variant value in EEPROM
*Applicable for only vehicle which optional variant coding is applied |

- After IGN On, no Auto Variant value in EEPROM
*Applicable for only vehicle which auto variant coding is applied |
