Repair Procedures: Replacement

Information 

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
• Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
• Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1. Remove the Crash Pad Side Cover.

   (Refer to Crash pad - "CRASH PAD SIDE COVER ")

2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the side air vent duct assembly (A).

3. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad center garnish (A).

4. Disconnect the connectors (A).

5. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the steering column shroud upper panel (A).

6. Loosen the mounting screws, remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Information 

   Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
