Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the engine cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "ENGINE COVER ")

  2. Remove the RH front strut bar (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    41.2 - 61.8 N.m (4.2 - 6.3 kgf.m 30.4 - 45.6 lbf.ft)

  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
    1. Disconnect the breather hose (A), recirculation hose (B) and vacuum hose (C).
    2. Disconnect the air intake hose (D) and then remove the air cleaner assembly (E).

      Tightening torque 

      Hose clamp:

      2.8 - 4.8 N.m (0.3 - 0.5 kgf.m, 2.2 - 3.6 lb.ft. 26.0 - 43.4 lb.in)

      Air cleaner assembly:

      7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
