DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Pumping current circuit (VIP) open
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open to oxygen sensor pumping current (VIP)
  • Upstream HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 9 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Pump cell voltage is below 1.2V, Nernst cell voltage is greater than 1.2V
Diagnostic Time
  • Within 1.5s of detecting related fault symptoms
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
