Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal (A) by loosening the mounting nut after disconnecting the connector (B).
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)

Remove the battery sensor (A) after removing the flange bolts.
Tightening torque:

26.5 - 32.3 N.m (2.7 - 3.3 kgf.m, 19.5 - 23.8 lb.ft)
