Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "DRIVE BELT ")
Separate the alternator wiring (A) after disconnecting the alternator connector (B).

Remove the "B" terminal (A) from the alternator after removing the mounting nut.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Disconnect the injector connector (A).

Separate the injector connector & bracket (A) by removing the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the alternator (A) after removing the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:

49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb.ft)
