DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check if CAM sensor is synchronized correctly
  • Poor connector connection
  • Abnormal assembling state
  • CMPS
  • CMPS incorrectly installed
  • Damaged CMPS shielding
  • CMP circuit shorted to other CMP circuits
Enable Conditions
  • Missing tooth in crankshaft detected. No CKP sensor error (P033500/P033600)
Threshold Value
  • Counter of no CMP signal changing per 2 crankshaft revolutions is greater than 4 times
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycle
