Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	Brake switch connector	4 (Brake lamp switch power)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 12V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	Brake switch connector	2 (Brake test switch)	PCM connector	63 (Brake test switch)	Approx. below 1Ω
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	Brake switch connector	5 (Brake light switch)	PCM connector	109 (Brake light switch)	Approx. below 1Ω
Ignition "ON". Keep the brake taking "OFF".	Brake switch connector	2 (Brake test switch)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 12V
Ignition "ON". Keep the brake taking "OFF".	Brake switch connector	5 (Brake light switch)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 0V

Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the brake switch and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
