Removal And Installation

Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Remove the drive belt and water pump belt.
(Refer to Drive Belt System - "DRIVE BELT ")
Remove the dust cover (A) and transaxle mounting bolt (B).
Tightening torque:

42.1 - 48.0 N.m (4.3 - 4.9 kgf.m, 31.1 - 35.4 lb.ft)

Adjust the length of the holder (A) so that the front plate of the holder (B) puts in the ring gear teeth.
Adjust the angle of the links (C), and fasten the bolt 70 mm (2.7559in) in the original mounted hole.
Tighten the bolts and nuts of the holder and links securely.

Fully tighten the bolts and nuts for SST (09231-3D100, 09231-3D200).

Remove the crankshaft damper pulley (A).
Tightening torque:

114.7 - 120.6 N.m (11.7 - 12.3 kgf.m, 84.6 - 88.9 lb.ft) + (68 - 72°)

NOTE: Do not press the pulley or apply the excessive force to prevent the rubber part from being deformed.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
