Repair Procedures: Replacement

NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the front bumper assembly.

    (Refer to Front bumper - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Disconnect the smart key antenna connector (A).

  3. Disconnect the front radar connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the ambient temperature sensor connector (A).

  5. Remove the front bumper beam assembly (A) by removing the mounting bolts and nuts.

    Tightening torque 

    21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 Kgf.m, 15.9 - 19.5 lb.ft)

  6. Remove the smart key (A) by removing the mounting nuts.

  7. Remove the front radar (A) by removing the mounting nuts.

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    Replace any damaged clips.
