Ignition "ON".	Refer to "DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM - 2.5T (VIN F) (EXCEPT HEV) " and remove the necessary parts to access the control unit connected to the DCT L-CAN related communication circuit, such as TCU, shift lever, etc. Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)". Disconnect unit connector one after the other. Using KDS to communicate with other units, such as TCU, shift lever, etc., to identify the fault-causing control unit. When a specific control unit is removed, does it communicate with the system using KDS?	-

Good

Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
If problem still occurs, replace control unit that causing the fault and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
