Inspection Condition	Inspection Procedure	Reference
Ignition "ON".	Refer to "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) " "DCT CONTROL MODULE (TCM) " "ESC CONTROL UNIT " "INTEGRATED CENTRAL CONTROL UNIT (ICU) " and remove necessary parts to get access to Engine, DCT, VDC, ICU and other control units that connected to P-CAN Communication circuit. Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)". Disconnect unit connector one after the other. Using KDS, communicate with other units such as engine, DCT, VDC, ICU, etc. to identify the control unit causing the failure. When a specific control unit is removed, does it communicate with the system using KDS?	-

Good

Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
If problem still occurs, replace control unit that causing the fault and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
