Module Circuit Inspection (W/O EPB)
Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 HECU connector 1, 25 (Memory power) Chassis ground - B+
HECU connector 13, 38 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 HECU connector 32 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+
Module Circuit Inspection (With EPB)
Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 HECU connector 1, 30 (Memory power) Chassis ground - B+
HECU connector 14, 46 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 HECU connector 37 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+

Good 

No Good

  1. Ignition "ON".
 HECU connector 8 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
HECU connector 7 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 HECU connector 8 (P-CAN high) ICU connector 17 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
HECU connector 7 (P-CAN low) ICU connector 18 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 HECU connector 8 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
HECU connector 7 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
HECU connector 8 (P-CAN high) HECU connector 7 (P-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω

 HECU connector 23 (P-CAN high) ICU connector 17 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
HECU connector 22 (P-CAN low) ICU connector 18 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 HECU connector 23 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
HECU connector 22 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
