DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Faulty MDPS
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Received abnormal MDPS signal
Detecting time
  • In control: 500 ms
  • Non-control: 1500 ms
Warning Lamp
  • None
Disable Condition
  • When MDPS signal is normally received, fault is normal recovery in the same ignition cycle
