DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor CAN message
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short/open circuit in CAN line
  • Abnormal CAN H/W
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • In control: no speed condition
  • Non-control: over 3.7MPH
Threshold Value
  • When P-CAN bus off occurs
Warning Lamp
  • ESP, DBC, AVH, EPB
Disable Condition ESP
  • Warning lamp "ON" with no DTC: After 100 ms monitoring after CAN normalization in the same ignition cycle
  • Warning lamp "ON" with DTC: When P-CAN bus is normal after ignition off/on
EPB
  • Normal recovery from P-CAN bus off in the same ignition cycle
