DTC C1235-01: Pressure Sensor (Primary) - Open/Short: General Description

The pressure sensor, installed in the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU), converts the brake pressure to judge the driver's brake intention when the EBD/ABS/ESC program is operated. When pressure is applied to the sensor, the resistance of the sensor's strain gauge changes. The change in resistance changes the voltage output from the sensor.
